DINC is a molecular docking tool used to predict binding modes of ligands that are too large to be efficiently and accurately analyzed using other available molecular docking tools. DINC is a meta docking tool that incrementally docks overlapping fragments of a ligand by using the tool Autodock. Since it has been shown that consensus scoring has better performance than individual scoring functions from docking programs, we are planning to enhance DINC with consensus scoring by combining the scoring function of another well-known docking tool, Vina, with that of Autodock. Through consensus scoring, we expect to improve DINC’s performance in predicting binding modes.
