Globally, women are still more likely to select fields related to education, health, humanities, and arts while the percent of men graduating in the engineering field is at least five times higher. We will share our strategies and experiences in creating a global innovation and STEM program that leverages emerging technologies, local culture and is cross-disciplinary in its approach to using technology to solve many of the problems which uniquely impact the world's women from health to violence and poverty.
