Metrics infrastructure is critical to the success of engineering teams since it provides visibility into software performance. With effective system monitoring, teams are able to quickly catch, debug, and fix errors; make data-driven decisions; and confidently iterate on features. In this presentation, we will discuss Affirm's metrics infrastructure, which accomplishes our goals of reliability, scalability, and availability using open-source tools.
