Current models for estimating the spatial distribution of electricity demand often lack the spatial granularity, scalability, and uncertainty measures needed to support city planners. This talk will describe a new statistical framework for modeling residential electricity demand that overcomes these limitations, including a case study and the framework’s implications for sustainability.
