With unemployment rates for female veterans 5% higher than non-veteran females, tech firms seeking talent need a plan to recruit veterans transitioning into the civilian IT workplace. I was a nuclear weapons specialist and a HW engineer in the U.S. Air Force and struggled to find a civilian job. I will share my trek, the value of hiring veterans, how companies can help, and share success stories.
