Objective: Guidance
Audience Level: Beginner/Intermediate
Session Type: Presentation

How can able-bodied, neurotypical engineers & designers begin to understand the lived experiences of people with disabilities and design for all users? Empathy, a core design skill, helps us move from abstraction to an understanding that guides better design. An Accessibility Lab can help build empathy using simulations of disability in web and mobile platforms. The speaker will describe how to make & run an Accessibility Lab.
