Fog computing, which places computing functionality at multiple locations on the spectrum between end devices and the cloud, has been receiving increasing attention. This talk describes approaches to several specific fog computing challenges. It also presents the Fog Computing Reference Architecture developed by the OpenFog Consortium, an industry-wide effort that includes Intel, ARM, and CISCO.
