Description
In this session, you'll learn about two very different—but very successful—examples of cross-platform partnership and collaboration.

Brent Friedman of Valemont will share details from the development of the hugely successful MTV show, which incorporates an online presence and texting in addition to short minisodes and webisodes. You'll find out what this traditional collaboration/production workflow involved, and how this linear system benefited and challenged its creators.

Lenny Brown of THQ will describe the groundbreaking process that led to the game publisher's collaboration with book publishing giant Random House. Together, the two companies produced Homefront: Voice of Freedom, the novelization of THQ's already-platinum shooter Homefront—and now they're collaborating on an incubator to create all-new intellectual properties.
