Description
Many matches end prematurely, or before their initial time commitment is met. Not only are these matches less likely to be effective, they may actually be harmful in some cases. To prevent early endings, better understandings of what causes them are needed. Presenting findings from the Study to Analyze Relationships (STAR), a study of early match closure conducted in collaboration with four Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates, we will examine individual, relational and organizational factors contributing to early closures and discuss how to prevent them.
