A key challenge in Dynamic Spectrum Access networks is the need for ubiquitous and accurate characterization of spectrum occupancy; however, existing techniques are expensive and hence provide a limited view on spectrum occupancy. Our work proposes a system design and spectrum scan analysis methodology that provides low-cost sensing and per-transmitter characterization of spectrum occupancy.
