In this study, we focus on monochromatic static RkNN queries and propose a solution based on the concept of Private Information Retrieval (PIR), which strongly preserves the privacy of the query point by preventing the location-based services from inferring any information about the query point. Our results using real-world data show the effectiveness and efficiency of our solution.
