RNA binding proteins (RBP) regulate many critical cellular processes such as mRNA splicing and translation. A reliable method of predicting and altering RBP specificity could enable designer control of these processes. We present a computational method within the object-oriented Rosetta software suite for predicting RBP affinities and show predictions can achieve better than 1.5 kcal/mol accuracy.
