The Bloomberg Terminal is a cloud-based platform through which thousands of applications are made available to financial professionals. Over the course of decades, teams working on these apps have evolved independent solutions for common interactions. To create consistency, the UX team at Bloomberg has applied several methods described by Nielsen and others during a CHI 1988 workshop.
