Until recently Warwick Williams PhD was a Senior Research Engineer in the hearing health area at the National Acoustic Laboratories, Sydney. Warwick’s research is in the area of hearing protectors, noise exposure, the human effects of noise exposure and more recently with ototoxic exposure. Publications cover noise exposure arising from work, non-work and leisure activities. He is currently chairman of the Standards Australia Committee ‘AV – 003 Acoustics – Human effects’ and represents Australia as Head of Delegation, at the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) on committees ‘ISO/TC 43 Acoustics’ and ‘ISO/TC 43/SC 1 Noise’.
