Her
initial medical and paediatric training was in Dunedin, Wellington and
Auckland. She began her paediatric cardiology training at Green Lane Hospital
before spending four years in Boston at the Boston Children’s and Brigham and
Women’s Hospitals. While in Boston she completed a Masters in Science in
Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health. Her clinical and research interests are in
adult congenital heart disease, intervention for congenital heart disease and
pulmonary hypertension.
