In 2007 Debbie was appointed Crown
Monitor until September 2013, when she as requested by the Board to act as
Interim CCDHB CEO. Following the
recruitment process, Debbie was appointed to the permanent role in July
2015. Debbie has over 20 years’
experience in the health sector coupled with extensive experience in both the
private and public sectors.
Debbie’s previous experience
includes: Crown Monitor for Hutt DHB, CEO of Standards New Zealand, Deputy
Director-General, Corporate and Information Ministry of Health (7 years
including a period as Acting Director-General of Health), partner KPMG and
member of the National Health Committee.
She has provided policy and funding advice on Health, ACC and Local
Government while with the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
