Jack is currently studying medicine at The University of Auckland
and this year is on clinical placement at Auckland City Hospital. He has a
degree in Science from University of Otago and grew up on Waiheke Island.
Diagnosed with Type 1 at the age of 9, Jack has seen a few changes
in medical technology; from drawing up insulin in syringes, to dialling a
number into an insulin pen, then insulin pumps, and now the likes of the mighty
Dexcom CGM. His brief story will provide a patients perspective to using the
Dexcom G5, the pros and cons he has experienced along with a vision for the
future.
