Dr Lee Mathias has been involved in public and private health care organisations for many years. She has witnessed the vast changes in the technology available to clinicians and managers and the impact on care and treatment.  Her advice is to always be looking at the horizon but be informed enough to know and understand what will be of use to our communities and what will be a distraction. Lee uses her role at Unitec, and the access to tech of all sorts, to inform governance decisions in the public health sector. Lee’s clinical experience as a nurse proves to be invaluable in those decisions.
