Alastair works with the Health Information Standards Organisation (HISO) to introduce fit-for-purpose standards for better data quality and a better flow of information in the NZ health and disability sector. Alastair represents the Ministry of Health on the SNOMED International member forum, is an HL7 NZ Board member and chairs the NZ health sector architects group.
