Julie Anne Genter is a member of the New Zealand Parliament and
the Green Party’s spokesperson for Health, ACC, Transport, Auckland Issues, Youth,
Associate Finance, and Sports and Recreation.
She has had a long standing interest in Health, especially public
health. Before becoming an MP Julie Anne worked as a transport consultant in
Auckland, where her professional experience centred around ground-breaking
research in transport economics and urban design, including valuing the health
benefits of walking and cycling.
She is particularly passionate about the seizing the opportunity
to create happier, healthier communities in Aotearoa by responding to climate
change and reducing inequality.
