Expert Advice Appointments

This important element in the Congress programme enables delegates to obtain practical solutions for their most important challenges and advice that is specifically designed for their individual needs, and unlocks the tremendous expertise that exists within the ICCA membership.


Throughout the Congress programme delegates will be able to attend pre-booked 30-minute one-on-one appointments with Experts (drawn from both ICCA members and guest speakers) covering a wide range of topics.

Read what David Bodor, at that time working for the Hague Convention Bureau, says:
"At the 2011 ICCA Congress in Leipzig I set up an Expert Advice Appointment to explore new ways of designing and communicating our city's business events strategy. This June we received the news that an additional EURO 7 million will be invested by our city in destination marketing over the next four years, something which wouldn’t have been possible without the advice we received. Now that's what I call ROI!"

How to sign up for the Expert Advice Appointments?

You can indicate the areas you would like to share your expertise on and/or the areas that you would like to receive advice on during your registration.

If you make yourself available as an expert, this will be indicated in the Tapcrowd App and other delegates will be able to book an appointment with you through Tapcrowd.

If you have indicated an area you would like to receive advice on, we will forward your details to the experts so they can actively approach you as well.
