Dr Alan Cheng was proudly trained in Auckland and attained his fellowship in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery in 1994. He subsequently went on to attend fellowships in Adelaide and Chicago in the disciplines of Rhinology and Paediatric Otolaryngology. He is the director of the paediatric otolaryngology fellowship program in Sydney since 2005, and became Clinical Associate Professor in the discipline of Child and Adolescent Health at the University of Sydney in 2012. He currently has 33 peer reviewed publications, and contributed to 10 book chapters. He is currently the international chairperson for the Paediatric Otolaryngology Program for the next IFOS in Paris, 2017.
