Heart failure in 2016: An update of the latest guidelines.

Over the past decade there have been significant changes in the way heart failure is managed, in regards to the access to care, advanced imaging techniques, improved understanding of haemodynamics, new classifications, and in recent times, additions to pharmacotherapy.

The European Society of Cardiology (ESC) guidelines have been recently overhauled for 2016, in line with an update to the American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines. In this talk, we'll cover the latest updates in the diagnosis and management of heart failure.
