Jo is a co-owner of Maven, working primarily across the public and NGO sectors, with a specific focus on health and social outcomes.

Maven focuses on creating vibrant and prosperous economies and societies wherever we work, in New Zealand and internationally. We help businesses to succeed, governments to innovate, and communities to flourish. This creates genuine wealth – however defined – for all.

As well as her tertiary and post-graduate qualifications in business, marketing and market research, Jo is an accredited executive coach and trainer in the dark art and precise science of negotiation and influencing.

Jo is currently working with a wide range of health and social sector clients and their Boards, including GPNZ, SuPERU, Waitemata PHO, the National Hauora Coalition, HQSC, Physio New Zealand, and Plunket. She was a member of the NZHIT Executive in 2013 - 2015 and is a member of the IOD.

Prior to Maven, Jo worked in the private sector for multi-national companies, managing national teams, as well as small to medium sized enterprises in general management and consulting roles, specialising in
customer channel management and transformational service design.
