Kathy Doyle Grzech has more than 15 years of experience as a research administrator providing wide-ranging proposal development assistance to individual investigators. She has also authored, co-authored, or assisted in development of complex institutional proposals awarded more than $75 million from diverse sources. She previously held a joint appointment as assistant director for the NSF-funded Appalachian Mathematics and Science Partnership. Currently, she serves as an active member of an NIH-funded conference grant providing proposal development training for faculty from minority-serving institutions and as an advisor for an NIH-funded Biomedical/Biobehavioral Research Administration Development (BRAD) Award to develop a Proposal Development Unit at the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez.
