Chris Trimmer is the Executive Director of the World Obesity Federation. World Obesity represents professional members of the scientific, medical and research communities from over 50 regional and national obesity associations, around 30,000 individuals. Chris has over 15 years experience leading on both strategy and the operational management of complex global charitable organizations.

Chris has an MBA from the University of Southampton and a BSc in Biology from Royal Holloway University, part of the University of London.  Chris is a member of the Scientific Reference and Advisory Committee of the European Federation of the Associations of Dietitians and on the International Advisory Board for the city of Sydney, Australia.
