In the Footsteps of Gaudi

You will be taken on a city tour through Barcelona following in the footsteps of the city’s most influential son, Antoni Gaudí.  This outstanding architect lived and worked in Barcelona for most of his life and his work can be seen frequently as you wander through the Catalan capital.

The tour will start on the Paseo de Gracia where you will find 2 examples of Gaudí’s style, Casa Batlló and Casa Milá.  Although you will not be able to enter the buildings, both structures are real highlights that should not be missed when visiting Barcelona.

Guided tour of Sagrada Família – the Church of the Holy Family – construction began in 1882 and Gaudí died before it was completed. Work continues today and is due to finish in 2026.  The current structure consists of 18 towers, each with its own special significance.  During your guided tour around the exterior and interior of the basilica you will discover the secrets of Gaudí’s masterpiece.

Guided tour of Park Güell – designed and created from 1900 to 1904, and located on the Muntanya Pelada.  In 1984 it was included in UNESCO’s list of World Heritage Sites.

Continuing down the main street, you will also see the Fundació Tàpies, and the astonishing ‘Illa de la Discòrdia’, a square hosting four Modernist houses, each in very different styles.
