Once a year, Darmstadt Marketing GmbH places Darmstadt’s city crown into the centre of attention when they invite you to Darmstadt’s Days of Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) in May. The 13th Days of Art Nouveau will be held from 21st to 22nd May, 2016. The highlight of the art nouveau days is Saturday night and its “festival of lights” – in 2016 “a night in orange”: over 1,000 lanterns and the illuminated buildings place the hill of muses in an unforgettable atmosphere. Even in the days of the artists' colony more than 100 years ago festivals of light were celebrated on the Mathildenhöhe – reason enough to celebrate a “festival of lights” at today’s Darmstadt's “Days of Art Nouveau”.
The “art nouveau package” includes:
• One night stay at a 3*** hotel including breakfast for 2 people
• "Art nouveau ticket" for the festival of lights on the Mathildenhöhe on Saturday night
