University of Pavia

Approximately 1 hour from Milan

Take the opportunity to visit the University of Pavia, one of the oldest universities in Europe.  This prestigious, historic institution, boasting numerous famous professors such as Antonio Scarpa (1752-1832) and Camillo Golgi (1843-1926), is today a Research University and enjoys a strong tradition of international student and teacher exchange.

The tour will start with a light lunch within the University grounds followed by a guided tour of the Historic Museum and the university buildings and courtyards, including the Golgi Museum and the Natural History Museum.
