Best Machine-to-Machine Implementation
Auto Arrive and Depart, a push-button communication between the mobile computers in UPS tractor trailers and the dispatch office at package sorting facilities that relays what is being brought into or removed from the property. This machine-to-machine (M2M) functionality replaces a manual process involving telephones and manual keying of information, saving time multiplied across tens of thousands of entrances and exits per day. Also provides near real-time ETAs of vehicles to UPS locations.
