Colorado Governor's Office of Information Technology A central crisis map created by the Office of Information Technology GIS Team combining all types of information, including recovery operations, flood imagery and road closure/status from local, state and federal entities, onto a Google Crisis Map for the first time, during massive flooding. OIT worked with Google's Crisis response team to prioritize search results and push public alerts to mobile and desktop users across the flood affected areas. Updated in real-time, the map became the primary source for recovery operations.
