James Robertson is Vice President of IT Infrastructure for Turner Broadcasting Systems, Inc. James has been with Turner for the past 10 years, holding a number of positions within Technical Operations, Engineering and management. He currently provides leadership and strategy for a group that encompasses the Engineering and Operations functions of Data Networks, Voice Systems, IT Security, IT Risk-Governance and Compliance, Terrestrial and Satellite Broadcasting and Technology Project Management for the company. During his tenure at Turner, James has been involved in a number of high profile projects on behalf of Turner and Time Warner, the parent of Turner Broadcasting, including leading the technology design and integration for Time Warner Center, an 85-story facility in NY City which at its time included one of the largest VoIP deployments in Manhattan and one of the first deployments of 802.11AF Power Over Ethernet in the world. James holds a Bachelors and Masters in Computer Science and has held Cisco CCNP and CCDP qualifications.
