Assistant Chief Scott Morrison has been a member Vancouver Fire & Rescue Services since 1991, and has been in the fire service since 1987. Scott worked within the suppression ranks, joining the Technical Rescue Team in its inception in 1996 until 2014. He spent a majority of the next few years in training working with New Recruits, Technical Rescue, Live Fire, and Officer program. Scott was promoted to Assistant Chief in January 2016 where he supported operations and the EMS division during the development of the opioid crisis. Assistant Chief Scott Morrison currently supports the Training Division, Emergency Management, and CAN TF1.
