Donna McLean
   Director, CANUTEC, Transportation of Dangerous Goods Directorate, Transport Canada


 
 
 
 
Donna started her career with the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Directorate in 1999 with the Compliance and Response Branch. She held various positions within the Directorate, spending most of this time instructing federal and provincial/territorial inspectors on the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations.

 In 2003, she moved to Health Canada to work in the field of emergency preparedness and response. In 2005, she became the acting Contingency Planning Manager for the Center for Emergency Preparedness and Response. In her various roles within the Health portfolio she worked on developing contingency plans and exercises for various situations such as infectious diseases and natural disasters.

 In 2008, Donna returned to the TDG Directorate as Chief, Inspection Standards and Safety Awareness with the Compliance and Response Branch.
