Scott is a 28 year veteran of the fire service and is the Senior Academy Officer for the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service. He is a licensed paramedic and manages the fire training officers along with leading the WFPS officer and chief officer development programs. Scott is also the developer and program manager of the WFPS U.A.V. program. In addition to a Bachelor’s degree in physical education, he is an accredited Fire Officer and has extensive experience in fire investigations, incident command and peer support. Scott also served as Deputy Chief of the Springfield Fire & Rescue Service where he dedicated over 23 years and managed their training and medical programs.
