Chief John Hay is the Fire Chief for Thunder Bay Fire Rescue (TBFR) and is responsible for overseeing deployment of over 200 firefighters to support the City of Thunder Bay and the surrounding areas. Chief Hay’s experience is in paramedicine, training and fire suppression; he strongly advocates for innovative health and wellness initiatives for the men and women of TBFR.
