Revalidation
“Revalidation”,
referred to as “Recertification” in New Zealand, is the term used to describe
both maintenance and enhancement of competence. Both the Medical Council of New Zealand and
the Medical Board of Australia are reviewing the requirements for doctors. This presentation will focus on the MCNZ
proposals and how the proposed changes may affect individual doctors and how
the proposed changes will likely be implemented by colleges.
