Age-Friendly Workplaces: Recruiting and Retaining Experienced Employees

Age-Friendly Workplace Programs: Recruiting and Retaining Experienced Employees

By 2030, more than one in five people working in Colorado will be at least 55 years old, according to the CO State Demography Office. Combined with today’s historically low unemployment rate and projected labor shortages, this rapid shift in workforce demographics presents opportunities for companies to develop and implement strategies to successfully recruit and retain experienced employees.

We invite you to join the research teams from nonprofit Transamerica Institute and University of Iowa’s College of Public Health for a one-day, in-depth exploration of best practices among employers for fostering a multi-generational workforce and tapping into the value of age 50+ employees.

Conference attendees will have the opportunity to learn from experts in local and national organizations about the impact of population aging on the workforce and the imperative of integrating experienced employees into the workplace.
