UConn Cares in Hartford - Knox Foundation
Saturday, May 2, 2020 | 9:00 am-12:30 pm
Park/Site TBD
UConn Cares is a celebration of Husky pride and spirit through volunteering in your local community—at events all across the nation. For the month of April, join alumni, friends, and families to get involved in community service.
Join the UConn School of Social Work and the Hartford Alumni Network to serve with the Knox Foundation on May 2.
This is part of a citywide effort to clean up Hartford in honor of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day. Volunteers will help to clean and remove debris from parks and other public spaces within the community. The Knox Foundation will provide tools and supplies, just bring a water bottle and come dressed for the weather—long pants and close-toed shoes are recommended.
To participate, register below.* Register by 9 a.m. on May 2 to receive a UConn Cares T-shirt!**
*All registrants 18 years or older must register SEPARATELY.
**We will do our best to accommodate all size requests, no guarantees.
