The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA) is a sweeping new privacy law that will go into effect January 1, 2020 and will grant California residents broad new rights relating to their personal information collected by businesses.  The CCPA will impact businesses of all sizes, and carries with it significant risk of penalties and lawsuits.  This presentation will take a look at the CCPA, break down its components, and provide key takeaways for companies of all sizes as they work toward compliance in 2020.
