Scholars at Risk 2020 Global Congress

The SAR Global Congress is the biennial gathering of SAR members, scholars, partners and supporters to learn from each other, and share good practices in supporting scholars and promoting academic freedom. 

 

The 2020 Congress will consist of pre-conference advocacy workshops and an “advocacy day” on Capitol Hill in Washington DC, on March 25-26, hosted by the American Association for the Advancement of Science, followed by two days of plenaries, panels, and working sessions hosted by Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore on March 26-28.

Fee waivers: SAR depends on registration fees to help cover the costs of the Global Congress. However, any individuals for whom the registration fee would be an obstacle should reach out to scholarsatrisk@nyu.edu to discuss their situation. Kindly note that your registration is valid only after it has been confirmed by e-mail.
