The UConn New Haven Alumni Network invites you to serve with them at the Connecticut Food Bank on April 6th.
Please join us for check-in and continental breakfast at 9 AM hosted by UConn Women & Philanthropy and learn about a network dedicated to empowering UConn women. Our shift will begin at 9:30 AM with a training session.
Volunteers will be packaging non-perishable food items and must be able to stand for shift duration. Fully enclosed footwear (closed-toe shoes) is required. We recommend you bring a sweater since you may be working in or close to a refrigerated space. Jackets and gloves are available for use to ensure that volunteers are comfortable.
In its third year, UConn Cares is a month long initiative encouraging alumni to celebrate their husky pride and volunteer within their local communities.
To participate, register below!
**All registrants 18 years or older must register SEPARATELY.
All participants that register before 4/1/19 at 9 a.m. will receive a UConn Cares t-shirt. We will do our best to accommodate all size requests, no guarantees.
