This program will educate private issuers about the process of going public by merging with an existing public shell. This allows a company to go public via a streamlined cost effective process. Once public, the issuer will be able access the public capital markets for financing options. We will discuss not only the process for this “alternative” public offering but the benefits and risks as well.

Greg Carney is counsel for Dentons. Greg has been practicing law since 1995. He started his career at Morrison & Foerster, a top 100 law Firm. Greg also served as in house counsel for a NY based hedge fund. Prior to jointing Dentons, Greg had his own law Firm for 13 years where he was active in alternative public offerings and counseling micro cap companies.
