Global Forum 2018

Mission Possible? The Quest to Define and Improve Student Success
A global forum on data, innovation and well-being in higher education

The Observatory on Borderless Higher Education

Location: W Dubai - Al Habtoor City

Dates: 4 - 5 November 2018

The 2018 OBHE Global Forum is about the definition and promotion of student success. Few dispute the value of higher education, but there is little consensus around the world on what value means or how to demonstrate it. Student satisfaction and engagement, happiness and well-being, graduation rates and graduate employment are just some of the measures available. Yet the ultimate goal - clear, agreed arrangements and metrics that support student success - still seems out of reach.

Come to the 2018 Global Forum to debate some of the latest data and thinking on how to enhance student success and well-being in higher education around the world. Our interest is in students of all kinds, including international, TNE and distance learners.

The Global Forum is for university leaders, policy makers, company executives and researchers internationally. A unique mix of senior attendees and global perspectives gives the Global Forum an edge over other events. Home to one of the globe's most international education sectors, Dubai is the ideal location for this year's Global Forum. Our Knowledge Partner for this event is the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), Dubai.
