SOUNDS IN MOTION was originally designed to improve auditory perception and stimulate correct articulation. It has also proven to be effective in developing phonemic awareness and early literacy.  SOUNDS IN MOTION can be taught in in Pre-K through first grade classrooms or in small group settings.  It is unique in its use of body movements from the VerboTonal system to train perception and production of sounds. 
Everyone Reading, Inc. will host a full-day SOUNDS IN MOTION workshop on December 3, 2017, from 9:00 am to 3:30 pm at our offices at 30 Broad Street – Suite 402. The $195 tuition includes a program workbook for 15 weekly lessons and a movement practice DVD. Everyone Reading, Inc. has been approved by the New York State Education Department to confer CTLE (Continuing Teacher and Leader Education) hours for our workshops.  Participants will receive a CTLE certificate for six hours.  We will also provide generic attendance certificates.
