Hands-On Workshop

Moisture Dynamics in Residential Construction

A building’s construction, maintenance, and placement influence how it reacts to environmental conditions including moisture. Structural pest and home inspectors should understand how moisture can effect conducive conditions and wood-destroying organisms. Luke Howard, Building Science Specialist with the WSU Energy Program, will discuss what influence moisture can have on residential construction and potential pest problems.
