Speak at the industry's premier event  

Apply now to speak at the World Nuclear Association Symposium 2017, to be held 13-15 September at the Park Plaza Hotel, Westminster Bridge, London. 

The World Nuclear Association Symposium has been the foremost international conference of the nuclear energy industry for more than forty years. Speakers present to more than 600 industry leaders, energy experts and journalists. 

We welcome proposals for presentations on all aspects of the nuclear industry, including fuel cycle and nuclear technology. Our programme this year will include the following topics:

  • Building Public Confidence: improving communication and dialogue to strengthen support for nuclear energy.
  • Nuclear Energy and Electricity Systems: ensuring that nuclear can play an expanding role in future electricity systems that include intermittent generation
  • New Technologies: the latest developments for new fuels, new reactor technologies and innovation throughout the nuclear fuel cycle.
  • Human Resources: ensuring that the global industry has sufficient staff, skills and expertise available to meet its future
  • Uranium Supplies: the key issues affecting uranium supplies, including the role of secondary supplies.

Submitting a Proposal

Proposals for presentations can be made online. The deadline for submissions is 12 May

Presentations will be made on Thursday 14 or Friday 15 September 2017, and should be supported by PowerPoint slides. Guidelines for presentations are available here.
