As the program for the SPHERE 2017 International Symposium is being finalised, we are delighted to announce that there is:

Something for everyone...
SPHERE 2017 will discuss and debate the four topics:

1)  Innovation in Healthcare
2)  Policy: Drivers and Impact
3)  Health and the Built Environment
4)  Public and Private Healthcare

In the 'Policy: Drivers and Impact' section of the Program, we will discuss how policy affects the daily activities of our carers and the deliverers of healthcare. There are great opportunities to develop smarter policies that harness innovation, respond to and take on board the feedback of front line staff and their experiences in the delivery of care - helping patients to recover quickly and return to productive lives.

Professor Lincoln is a member of numerous Government and scientific expert public health advisory groups. He is the chair of one on the NICE's standing Advisory Committees on Public Health.  He was a Director at the Health Education Authority and has worked in public health in the NHS and been an educational adviser, teacher and researcher. Paul was awarded an OBE in the 2008 New Year honours list for services to healthcare and is an honorary member of the Royal College of Physicians and the Association of Directors of Public Health and a Professorial Fellow to the Royal Society of Public Health. The team uses a variety of different tools and approaches including social movement thinking, community organising, improvement science, accelerated design, digital connectivity and digital curation. She leads “The School for Change Agents”, a virtual school that builds skills, confidence and connections for change. More than 10,000 people from 44 countries have been through the school. Helen and the Horizons team use social media and digital broadcasting to demonstrate that a small team (14 people) can make a big difference through the power of connectivity.
