Australian Institute of Criminology

The Australian Institute of Criminology has a long involvement in conducting and publishing research that has investigated issues in youth justice, corrections,  Indigenous justice, young people  and substance use, and precursor factors that increased the risk of youth offending (such as domestic violence and child maltreatment) and has collaborated many times in the past with Australasian Juvenile Justice Administrators

Australasian Juvenile Justice Administrators

The Australasian Juvenile Justice Administrators (AJJA) is a sub-group of the Children, Youth and Community Services Policy Research Working Group, which is a standing committee of the Standing Council on Community and Disability Services Advisory Council. Comprised of at least one senior executive officer from each of the Australian state or territory departments and New Zealand who is responsible for the delivery of youth justice services, AJJA works collaboratively to lead and influence the development of youth justice systems and to contribute to better outcomes for young people and the community.
