DUBLIN A City To Visit That Feels Like Home!

Dublin is proud to host the What's Working for Young People conference.
“Céad mile fáilte”.  
Dublin is a breath of fresh air, a truly unique capital that’s steeped in tradition yet young at heart. Established by the Vikings over a thousand years ago, it has through the centuries gradually become an important commercial and cultural centre. In the historic, compact city centre there is lots to do and see, and visitors will love the rich selection of galleries, museums, restaurants, pubs and shops, not to mention the traditionally warm welcome from Dubliners.

Within Dublin, there are many sights to see while exploring the city by foot. From the museums, galleries, shops, restaurants and bars, Dublin offers each visitor
options to suit their needs.

Just 10 of Dublin's 100′s of things to see and do:

  1. See Spire of Dublin on O’Connell Street and enjoy the architecture of the GPO and Dublin's many historical buildings and Georgian squares.
  2. Visit Trinity College Dublin and see the Book of Kells.
  3. Shop on Grafton Street (or window shop!)
  4. Visit Historical St Patrick’s Cathedral
  5. Visit Dublinia to learn of Dublin’s Viking past.
  6. Sample a pint of Guinness in one of Dublin’s many pubs or visit Guinness Storehouse – the home of Guinness
  7. Visit the National Gallery of Ireland
  8. Walk through Temple Bar to see the craftworks, restaurants, cafes..
  9. Visit Dublin Castle
  10. Take a walk through St Stephen’s Green and the many Georgian squares to see the architecture of Dublin.

Or simply step outside the conference venue and explore the city!  With so much to experience when in Ireland, be sure to make the most of your time while here.

Do you have some extra time while in Ireland? Step outside Dublin and see what Ireland can show you.

•Beautiful gardens and mountains of County Wicklow.
•Take a few days to explore the West coast and visit Galway, "the city of tribes", or the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher.
•Travel on the DART and head north to the villages of  Malahide or Howth.
•2 hours to Belfast by train and visit the Giant's Causeway.
